Product description
This acoustic sleeve come originally as an 125mm diameter x 360mm in length sound adsorbent wall vent sleeve. Due to the construction of the sleeve it can easily be reduced in diameter to fit a standard 105mm wall vent or an 100mm wall vent. The thickness of the sound absorbent materials is 15mm and will only reduce an 105mm wall vent to 75mm diameter, which still allows 4,415mm² of fee ventilation area. Most external grilles with a fly screen have a free area less than 4,415mm². This acoustic sleeve is not recommended to be used with any permanent wall vent used for a combustion appliance as it could reduce the area of that vent below the legal limit.
Further noise reduction of the wall vent can be achieve with the used of the Fresh Tyfon grille and the Fresh 90 or TL100 anti draught vent .
