Our Ventilation Survey
We offer a ventilation survey for new build and retrofit houses. This survey is suited to people that have moderate condensation problems, or want to upgrade their ventilation system along with other energy efficiency improvements been carried out on their property. If you find that you are experiencing mould growth or excessive condensation problems we would recommend that you get a Damp and Thermal Imaging survey.
Survey Process
- With our ventilation survey we measure the whole house to get a complete overview of your ventilation needs.
- All your existing fans are tested to find out if the ventilation and ducting is up to standard.
- We note all existing wall and trickle vents against the amount of passive ventilation that should be installed.
- We note all permanent vents installed for solid fuel appliances and combustion appliances that take there air from the room.
- The gap under all internal doors is measured to ensure proper air flow through the property.
- We take a relative humidity and absolute humidity reading of the property to see if there is a ventilation problem in the property.
- On the results of the survey we demonstrate our recommended ventilation products so you can see and hear them in operation.
- We will email you our survey report and estimate for fitting the products. If requested we will give you a supply only price.
